visited here for the first time since the lockdown recently. if they are part of Amber/Gummi-Ales, this is not the place for them.

great choice of beer. I managed to rehearse a few just and they were all in top condition. one has to visit for every demanding real ale drinker!

I initially voted 4 stars, but after finding his ground, Nigel can definitely get 5 now. Best pub in Stroud, and one of the best in the entire County!

Visited here for the first time recently. What a great pub. Fantastic choice of ales in a nice environment. We enjoyed sitting by the open fire. Will be back soon.

hubby loved the choice of the ales, I loved the gin choice that is served with swedes, not an imposter! am I the only one who doesn't like fever? the roaring fire has completed the experience
