"A Charming Seaside Retreat The Beach Pavilion Cafe in Llanfairfechan is a delightful spot right on the promenade, offering breathtaking views of the sea. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. The menu offers a variety of options, with the breakfast dishes and cakes being particular highlights. While some dishes could use a bit of improvement, the overall quality of the food is good, and the prices are very reasonable. The cafe’s atmosphere is warm and inviting, with lovely decorations that add to the charm. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee, a leisurely breakfast, or a light lunch, the Beach Pavilion Cafe is a great choice. It’s a wonderful place to relax, enjoy good food, and take in the stunning views. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Llanfairfechan!"

This restaurant saves you because it is practically the only one on the beach, you can eat something, have coffee, ice cream and go to the bathroom

Proper cafe breakfast. Able to swap items if not wanted for no extra. They do not scrimp on size of plate either always very full after eating here. Biscoff donut cake is best one there… worth a try. Staff are friendly and always smiling.

Great views, food not so! We had a chip bap (had to order chips bap separately) ?? So came to £3.80!! Frozen chips and marg coated bap! Sauces were in Heinz/HP branded bottles however very, very cheap imitations. £2.30 for instant coffee!! Did not revisit during our 5 day stay

A great building and location and lovely staff. However, I'm afraid let down by poor coffee and hot chocolate. Both were fairly weak and insipid. It felt very much like the kind of instant drinks you could make yourself at home. I think people are used to a better quality/standard these days Visualizza piatti

This is a traditional café, absolutely brilliant. It's just like being at home. No opening if those tiny fiddly sachets of sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar, or sauces, just put it in as you like. A fabulous breakfast at a fabulous price. My wife and I keep coming back. For the people who say it's dated, so are castles but you don't moan about them. That's why this place is so good. It takes us back to a better time.

The Beach Pavillion at Llanfairfechan has a respectable choice of classic dishes. It is cheap and cheerful, always busy. Extremely efficient staff up front and in the kitchen. I had a splendid made-on-order BLT sandwich £4.90) with chunky chips £3.20) and a Diet Coke at £1.30. Coming to the grand total of £9.45. The time between the placing of the order and leaving with a full and happy tummy was 15 minutes. No parking to pay. And it is on the promenade with a lovely view.

"Whenever I get the inclination to write a review it’s usually because it’s so good and I want to shout about my experience to everyone… however this is not my usual 5* recommendation! As locals we have visited this cafe on a few occasions for breakfast or a coffee stop. It’s a great location, nice decor, dog friendly and delicious food. What’s not to like? Well, the staff, or more specifically the owner! She lacks any customer service skills, she smiles through gritted teeth, orders her staff around while she stands observing (or waiting for an argument . Each time we’ve visited she’s had an issue with something. Once she argued with me because I asked for my latte to be served in a cup rather than a tall glass. She proceeded to try and educate me on coffee making (I’m barista trained ! She reluctantly gave me it to me in a mug with a jug of extra milk which wouldn’t fit into the mug anyway! More recently we arrived, it was quiet, and chose to sit in the window (the largest table as we had our dog and didn’t want him to be in the way. She rushed over and demanded we sat at another table because she “couldn’t afford for us to take up a larger table”. We moved without an issue but she was very confrontational (as always and made the rest of our dining experience uncomfortable. So uncomfortable in fact that despite being ravenous we almost didn’t order. The cafe remained quiet throughout our time there, plenty of empty tables and yet she proceeded to use the larger window table to accommodate her staff, herself and a friend who popped in. How is that fair? So my advice to you as a fellow catering/ hospitality manager is… Learn from your Trip Advisor feedback, Book yourself on a free customer service course and lead by example and if you are worried about costs reduce the number of staff. 5 staff on duty in a cafe that seats approx 25 people at full capacity is not needed. Maybe the owner should put her feet up at home and let the lovely younger people do their thing. They all look so nervous around her and are almost too afraid to speak. I’m sure they’d do a far better job without her monitoring their every move. Even the Chef (her husband maybe? looks petrified of her!! Certain people are not cut out for customer facing roles and she is one of them! I’m pretty sure she doesn’t read any of these reviews as she’s been like this since my first visit 5 years ago!! What a shame. This place could be a thriving business and a welcoming village cafe but I’m sure her confrontational attitude and unwelcoming nature put people off from returning. Such a shame as the food and coffee are delightful"
