"Such a shame as the Food was outstanding, however we were not made to feel very welcome, the staff were quite awkward. One of us ordered a main which didn't come with any side, this should have been mentioned when placing the order and a side should have been offered, when our food arrived and this was queried and we were told that it doesn't come with a side At just gone on a Saturday night, the fire exit door was locked open, our table was in direct line with the door and we had a cold draught (it's February). This meant that we did not stay for coffee and we asked for the bill. We did mention this to the staff when we left and was told that it was opened as it gets smoky from the fire, however the fire was not even lit. For this caliber of restaurant and food, we would have expected much better service especially as this was charged at If the service would have been more friendly and accommodating then we would have had an evening to remember for the right reasons."

"a first visit to Sunday dinner with 2 years and 3 adults. the meal of the child was ordered first, but unfortunately not the kitchen reached due to a printer problem. the personal was most apologetic and quickly fixed it. I could not blame that my roast lamb and the others were also very impressed with their meal. very good, polite and efficient service, and a free drink at the end of the meal to be used for the late meal of the child. would recommend it on Sunday."

"It was a fantastic experience for our team. Amazing 3 course meal with lip smacking and authentic Indian taste. Extremely friendly staff and top notch service. Landlord Mr. Nandu is a gem of a person and ensured all of us had an awesome time at the restaurant. Outdoor seating area was just perfect for the weather and Ample car parking space was a huge relief. I am coming back again soon. Thank you for your hospitality Vegetarian options: All the starters, Paneer and chhole curry were delicious. Kid-friendliness: It is kids friendly and kids had a great time too"

"We're regular visitors to The Cricketers, despite living on the opposite side of town and it's always such a pleasure to spend some time here. It's in a beautiful position overlooking the cricket pitch (hence the pub's name) in the pretty village of Littlewick Green, on the western border of Maidenhead. There's always a friendly welcome, and the pub's clientele is a mixture of locals, dog walkers and ramblers, as well as those who simply enjoy the hospitality of a cosy country pub. The menu here is very affordable and the food very tasty with plenty of choice for vegetarians such as ourselves, as well as the more traditional dishes. I really enjoyed my mushroom risotto, perfectly complemented with a glass of pino, and the pub had a nice friendly buzz on a Friday evening. The service was good too, and we had everything we needed. The background music is always good too not too loud, and always creates a pleasant atmosphere. We really enjoyed our evening, and would highly recommend! Looking forward to our next visit."
