superb service from beginning to end table not said in time, but the staff kept us informed at any time our waitress laura was absolutely brillisnt

Good food and service BUT didn't appreciate being told by who I presume was the manager that we could only have the table for 2 hours as it was booked by somebody else!

The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our meals were served promptly by a friendly waitress. The lovely table by the window made for a truly enjoyable experience.

Unfortunately, we had a party of 14 people and found that the dish was undercooked. The parsnips were boiled to the point of becoming chewy. Overall, the quality of the food has dropped significantly since my last visit.

Four of us visited here for Sunday lunch before two of us travelled home to South Wales. Our friends who live nearby in Horndean had not been previously but will certainly make it a regular visit in the future. The food was local sourced freshly made and was cooked to perfection. Friendly greeting on arrival and aware of booking. Drinks order taken promptly and arrived quickly. Food ordered and arrived in a timely manner. Fish and chips were super so hot and obviously straight out of the fryer. Mushy peas could have been a bit hotter. Good portions and partner's meal equally good. Nice atmosphere especially as it was sunny. Been here before and will definitely visit again. Service also good. Thank you.

The table was perfect as we had asked for space for a pram and we had plenty of room. Disappointingly some elements of the menu were unavailable- which seemed strange for a Saturday night. The food we did order was beautifully cooked and presented. The service let our experience down. We had to ask for the bill twice, then ask to pay several times until we got a little assertive sadly. Our waitress was busy filling pots with mayo and ketchup and chatting to her colleague to come and take our money. Sad finish to a pleasant evening

Having eaten here several times before, we decided to go for dinner with friends Friday evening. Sadly we didn't have a good time. We were shown a table, then waited half an hour before anyone came to take a drink or food order, no reason given for delay or an apology. Sadly my steak pie contained no meat, which was a disappointment. Our waiter half heartedly told us he would inform the chef, unsure if he did or not. We ordered dessert which took forever to appear, I then had to ask for my coffee as it had been forgotten. It has always been a nice place to visit for dinner or just drinks with friends, however our recent experience has now put us off. Visualizza piatti
