"When we visited the restaurant, it was not very busy so it's likely the kitchen wasn't too overwhelmed. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the food. The haggis bonbons starter was lukewarm and the Caesar salad lacked flavor, except for the smoked chicken. The steak was enjoyable, but the gnocchi was tough and chewy, clearly not homemade (although it wasn't advertised as such). We ended up leaving most of it uneaten. The staff, however, were fantastic and very friendly."

absolutely beautiful. the food was incredible, the location was beautiful and the worth was amazing for what we got. very recommended. and also recommend staying in the hotel!

This restaurant is absolutely delightful. The food was amazing, the setting was stunning, and the value for what we received was fantastic. I highly recommend dining here and also suggest staying at the hotel.

Don't even bother. Can't even take a reservation properly. Phoned and booked the table for afternoon tea twice already. To find out on the day that our reservation is not in their system. Luckily, I phoned both times on the day to check, so at least I saved me myself a trip.... It's still disappointing as we planned our day around this... Staff did not seem to care at all. JOKE. I booked an Afternoon Tea for my mums 70th birthday. Our server was lovely, friendly and polite, even wishing my mum happy birthday as we were seated. She double checked our allergies from our booking form and i realised I hadn't included an allergy to egg. However the Chef was extremely accommodating and ensured my Neice had a delicious selection of sandwiches and sweet treats at very short notice. We will definitely return.
