Alway welcoming and friendly and food is fresh and hot .. one of my favourites in Leicester defo one to visit

Over an hour wait for terrible food. Service was shocking, literally not a clue what they are doing. Shame really but you need to seriously up your game.

I stopped by for breakfast and drinks and everything was acceptable. It wasn't crowded, but some of the staff had bad manners. Their attitude was strange.

Best cafe in the world. The food was extravagant and the service was quick and polite. This visit to the cafe was better than that Mcdonalds at Thurmaston as I got what I ordered I didn't manage to get a mcflurry :

The marshmallows in the hot chocolate were stale and had a strange taste, so I ended up picking them off. Most of the food was hot. The pancakes were reportedly delicious, but the full English breakfast was not the best I've ever had.

The service, manners, hygiene, and food quality at this cafe were all poor. While it used to be decent, it has deteriorated quickly. Their salad sandwiches only include cheese or ham with some limp lettuce from a supermarket bag, lacking onion, tomato, or cucumber. There was a severe lack of hygiene, as staff did not wash their hands after clearing tables outside. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience and I would recommend avoiding this place.

Went to this lovely cafe next to the brook at Syston today , it was our friends birthday and the table was pre-booked for seven people . Jacky one of the owners had dressed the table with flowers a table runner with happy birthday , heart shaped lollipops because today was valentines and a lovely card and bouquet of flowers , what a surprise for our friend. The food all came out at the same time hot and delicious . We all had a great time and nothing was to much trouble , I would definitely recommend. Thanks to all hope to see you again soon .

I visited the cafe on Sunday 9th February for the first time, I actually live in Syston and I had it recommended by a friend who uses it often and recommended it to us. I was pleasantly surprised as it was nice, the food was good but I was a little perturbed at the rude attitude of the lady who was behind the counter who I gave my order to, she just was not interested in my order, was very curt to me and called someone else to take it, Another lady came and looked after us who was lovely and who seemed to be doing everything. The food was lovely and we will certainly visit again but I would like better service initially please.
