The Brooklyn - Menu

The food was excellent . They have a classic selection of steaks. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. Great choice for a steak night if you are looking for one.

Visited Berlin and found The Brooklyn restaurant. We wanted a good steak and we got it. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Ok prices. Wine list ok. We had a 3 course dinner and we will return if we return to Berlin.

the meat was good and so were the French pommes, but the salmon cannot be recommended as there was not enough fish. the weeping list was interesting, but nothing other than American and German weeping. the service was ok, but not amazing.

Nice atmosphere and focused service. The place was not quite full. Hence, acoustics was not a problem. With a full house it must be a problem. We went for four starters and opposite to our expectations, they were quite big. The restaurant deserves a bit...3 or a small 4.

Three of us dined here for dinner. The place has a neat ambience. Service was very good. The Gruner Spargel (asparagus) as a starter was excellent. We all had the 180 g Tenderloins were which were also excellent (E 29 each). The sides were smoked...cauliflower and broccoli, also very good. We finished with N.Y Cheesecake also very good. We shared a bottle of Jonathon's Ridge Pinotage which was excellent (although pricey E 89). So for the three of us the total bill was Euro 301. Would have no hesitation returning again.

I've been to this restaurant a few times in the past month. The food is amazing I always finish off the salads at this place, and I don't usually like salads. Staff are courteous friendly and speak English quite well. Toilets have a nice...touch, with very nice decor. The restaurant's interior is also nicely decorated. It doesn't look much on the outside though... even the neighbourhood isn't particularly interesting. That being said, it is a bit overpriced... but I am willing to close an eye on that considering the rest of the dining experience.

We had a wonderful evening here with friends. We wanted to take them out to some place special and with American food-this really did the trick! The food was all expertly prepared and tasted outstanding! The only reason I rate this restaurant a 4 and...not a 5 Star is because as the restaurant began to fill up, the service attentiveness dropped off markedly. My friend closest to the side table where our wine and water bottles were had to take over refilling the glasses and we had long gaps in time for service of the last two courses. The meal was outstanding and we had a good time. The restaurant should likely have another server report for duty as the restaurant fills. Total cost was over 3...

eating is notch. perfectly grilled steaks, high quality sides, also the starters (burrata, suppe, balsamico huhn, quiche) were very good. unfortunately the rest of the experience does not fit this level. service was slow. wait for the menus, wait for orders, wait. for the starters, wait for teller for the starters, wait a LONG time for the steaks. when the steaks finally arrived, we have been in the restaurant for more than two hours. that is not a slow eating, that is unprofessional. the waiter was friendly, but was stressed and overloaded. the restaurant uses the wardrobe of an adjacent hotel. the type at the reception of this hotel seems to hate this arrangement, since it was rude every t...

Unfortunately I cannot give no stars!!!! Without a doubt this is the worst restaurant I’ve ever been in for both the food and service. Do not waste your time and money there. Our experience was that on entering we were met by a member of...the kitchen staff as the kitchen is adjacent. There was dirty glasses and plates stacked up at reception . Unfortunately we didn’t leave at this point. As we didn’t leave we were shown through to our table and left there, no one offered to take our coats, offer us a menu or take a drink order.
