we visited windsor for a few days in this pub and how happy we were. the staff is beautiful (especially the type that leads the place) eating is excellent. the prices are really reasonable. we were made so welcome here that it is a special place.

Popped in here for a bit of lunch after a cold walk down The Long Walk. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and there was a warm and friendly welcome. This place is unbelievable! As a sailor who's been around the work and eaten and drank at many establishments, this has to be the one of the best! Their homemade pies are absolutely outstanding! Highly recommended if you're in the area! Many beers on tap to quench your thrist after a long day of walking!

Great pub I visited Carpenters today with 5 members of my family, I had been here before, but never for a meal. I could not be happier with my visit, not only because of the tasty food, but the staff are amazing, they were so polite and friendly. They made you feel so welcome. Thank you for a pleasant experience, will see you soon.

We visited here for a drink after a long day in Windsor. The security from the castle recommended this classic pub so thought we would try it for ourselves. Such a lovely atmosphere in a proper authentic pub, with so much history. The owner and the locals were so friendly and welcoming. the best castle pub! we starved after the tour through the castle and the nice manager man found a great table with cozy sofas and a kamin. Saturday bar tasty stores were in order, so we ordered the bark top nachos and chips and kitschige garlauch brot it was the best!
