"I lunched with girlfriends. Service was attentive and on time One of our group said her food had gone cold too quickly. I suspect the food was served on a cold plate. Please serve food on hot plates. The final bill was debited by 10.00 taking in the cold food complaint which was recognised. All the food was of good quality . There was a good choice of dishes and we would recommend it."

that was eating well and served on hot plates that I feel is important so that eating is hot when it comes to the table. we will certainly visit again.

When we arrived at the restaurant, there were no staff at the bar or in the dining area. After a brief wait, we were finally seated and received great service. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was charming.

We use the Chilworth Arms regularly, however, today we were disappointed with the meals. The roast beef was inferior to what we’ve had before most of mine in particular was gristle. One of the desserts chocolate bomb) didn’t dissolve melt Ike it should because the sauce was actually cold instead of the required heat needed to melt it.

It was a great family dinner,the food was great and so was the atmosphere ????????.We all enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back again soon. The food was quick to arrive and the prices are reasonable.The menu has a great selection.The only downside was waiting 15 mins for the bill to arrive but in saying that,the staff are friendly. We used to love this place but I'm sorry to say the last few trips have been disappointing. The food has lost the wow factor with several items under- or over-cooked and whoever adds salt needs to calm down and relax a little. The staff are brilliant and the venue is as charming as ever, but it's the meals they serve that are letting them down.

The restaurant had coffee stains and was not very clean, could use a fresh coat of paint. The glasses were dirty and should either be cleaned thoroughly or replaced with new ones. The menu looked good and the prices were fair. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. Definitely worth a visit, but make sure to book in advance as it is popular with older diners.
