Excellent food served to a high standard and superb service. Small criticism portions of deserts could be a little bigger. Chocolate tart slice one size one evening, smaller the next. Need to have consistency when diners dining for more than one night.

we really enjoyed our meal here. the personal was very welcoming and we enjoyed our appetizer drinks on the beautiful terrace with views of the stunning landscape. the service was still very good and eating was delicious. beautiful restaurant in a beautiful hotel.

We went to the Coach House for my husband's birthday meal. The food was outstanding, we had the cheese souffle and salmon mousse for starters and wild rabbit and lamb for mains. The service was excellent as well, great attention to detail. Would love to visit again! Visualizza piatti

both nick and sue, who served us in the coach house, were friendly, knowledgeable and funny. the meal was great and the ambiente great. low level music that was welcome. often we go to restaurants that have too loud music. there are also sitting places outside with a beautiful view great if the weather allowed. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

a wilder reception from a member of temporary staff, but then we were saved by a very friendly efficient dame. the winter garden was cool tired unwilling. we sat in a strange room, like someone's living room, but all magnolia with tables to the breakfast! saw at the door it was cold. objects off, but on the menu cook cried out of the personal to give alternatives. over boiled mushroom risotto with boiled rice. the wee was excellent and good value.

We arrived punctually for our reservation and replied that we were ready to go to the table when offered a choice of that or having a drink in the lounge. Apparently going to the lounge first is expected and guests put in their orders there, not at the table. After that we were treated as total pariahs the entire evening. If that were not enough, servers kept running through the small dining room (between kitchen and lounge? Making haste is one thing but in the small elegant dining room it was disruptive and this went on throughout the meal. We got French uppity waiter attitude and I hate to tell them, this isn't France.
