The Coffee Kitchen - Piatti

We could smell the delicious bakery from our hotel window and we had to try it out for lunch. Absolutely wonderful

After breakfast at the hotel we would have a stroll and then come back here and enjoy a pastry and some coffee. What a lovely treat

Visit here quite often when visiting cockermouth the beverages are good cooked breakfasts are lovely and there’s loads of space upstairs if you are wanting a bit of relaxed time with not much noise staff friendly and helpful would recommend

Passed my coffee test, a macchiato, with flying colours. Together with a fabulous brownie (not too sweet) made for an excellent pit stop for me. The soup was also superb. Chilli praised by one who doesn't normally go for spicy, great praise indeed.

While on holiday in Cockermouth we came across The Coffee Kitchen Bakery... what a find! Lovely place, lovely owner and staff but most of all the bread and goodies are just to die for. Coffee Kitchen is one of the reasons for visiting Cockermouth as far as we are concerned. Great home baking, excellent coffee, pleasant, relaxed surroundings and lovely staff. So we were very sad to hear from staff the other day that the cafe side of the business is closing at the end of this week. We'll miss you.

We called in whilst spending a day in and around Cockermouth. I needed a light lunch, something savoury (watching my sugar levels! , and we happened upon this cafe whilst following the town trail. It was first class. really pleasant service from delightful young ladies, a very good healthy menu and a delicious light lunch. I had a mocha, and it was one of the best I've tasted. Not at a all sickly sweet. Top marks for this little gem

This is not a chain foodstuffs cafe .This is not an artisan coffee shop .It’s a wonderful small bakery which sells freshly baked breads ,buns ,savoury pies and delicious flapjacks .A simple sandwich filling between the freshest of barm cakes ...house special in a large plastic container behind the counter consist of crisp breads sold by the 100 gym.....full of a great mixture of seeds encrusted in a white flour dough ....light and crumbly ....good for all cheeses. The portions are generous ,the service is friendly and the food is heartwarmingly good. Visualizza piatti
