"We had a lovely lunch with friends today. I had requested on the booking form for a nice quiet corner and when we arrived we were shown to a lovely table set in an alcove. Our waitress looked really festive with a Christmas Headband . Her name was Emma and she was so professional with her waiting service to us nothing was too much trouble even down to finding me some apple sauce for my mains of Pork. Although we didn’t opt out for the festive menu 2 of us asked if we could have Christmas Pudding . Emma checked with kitchen and they were happy to serve it to us. Coffee was brought soon after puddings no waiting although the restaurant was busy. 10/10 Emma"

we had never been there, but we were pleasantly surprised, it was warm, comfortable, very pleasant and helpful. food excellent I didn't want to eat since. now, for a day anyway. will go again and recommend it to friends.

the atmosphere in this facility has a fine balance between a gastropub and a Chique restaurant. kitty was friendly and extremely helpful. the menu had a large selection of meals to medium trips. they could be a few more vegan options, but on the whole very delicious meals.

I thought we would try this restaurant as it is part of the Fork scheme and had excellent reviews. it was all we hoped, attentive, helpful, pleasant staff, excellent eating (only critique would be the portions a bit big for some of us, not so bad for others? we were not rushed and had a table where I had asked. Thank you.
