"My partner and I have been to the three legged cross numerous times over the past few years and we have never been disappointed by the food or the service. We attended last night for some 'couple ' time away from the kids and enjoyed every course we had. I particularly loved my pizza and begged to take the rest home which, of course, wasn 't a problem! The staff are always really polite and very efficient. Definitely one of my favourite places to eat or just to have a drink and unwind."

"We have returned to this restaurant once again, and we are becoming regulars now. It continues to be lovely and busy on Fridays, which is a good sign. All of the dishes are excellent, and I believe the four of us have tried them all, including the starters. A word of caution on the battered fish and chips - the portion is quite large as it advertises, so be prepared for a generous serving. Despite having to dig out the peas and chips from under the large piece of fish, everything was delicious, so I can't really complain."

"I absolutely agree with Kelly who posted a review earlier the same happened to us we walked in and five or six young members of staff stood looking at us , felt like we shouldn’t be there , no one spoke ,to us no good morning , can I help you ,we have r been before and didn’t know anything , had to ask can we order something , when I asked if they could pop the sausage rolls in a micro for a few seconds I got a um um yes we ordered and payed and sat down ,the service very slow no customer chat , we ate our food which was very nice ,but we didn’t get the tea,after a while I asked a girl if our t was coming she said yes I will get it ,10 mins later asked a different girl who said it was coming ,then eventually the tea appeared, we finished out tea and left , to be stopped at the door and told you havnt paid for your tea ,so I said I paid the amount you asked for , she said you didn’t order tea , I told her I had ,we wouldn’t have food without a drink ,she said well I didn’t hear you and can u pay ,which of course I did ,usually these little farms and cafes are very friendly , think you need a supervisor to Organise the running and service of the cafe"

"This restaurant is a hidden gem! Our group of 4 had a wonderful dining experience, trying a variety of dishes from the menu. Every meal was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Alexander and his team provided excellent service, being attentive, knowledgeable, and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience at prices that were truly affordable for the quality of food and service we received."

"A family lunch for four; chilly bbq beans jacket potatos, Sunday roast, sandwich. All very good and great value too.Generous-sized portions, lots of good service and smiles.Dining inside and out...the ceiling fzns were working overtime inside and made a huge difference.Sunday roast is limited to one meat, roasties and 2 veg gravey. It was spot-on. (I've often thought that while a carvery style has it's positives, with plenty of choice, a simple set carvery ticks most of the boxes too. It certainly did here.)The menu is quite extensive; paninis, jackets, specials, desserts, cakes, etc.There's plenty of car parking, with the closest row to the entrance reseved for blue-badged visitors. From then on, everywhere is on one level, and dpacious too, so it's easy to get around.Nice toilets.Love it.And everything here is very good value.No wonder it's become so popular with mzny locals."
