The Dolphin At Budleigh Salterton

The cafe has opened under new management and what a difference. A bright clean interior and delicious freshly cooked food. Highly recommend for breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea.

Nice new cafe in Budleigh with efficient/polite service. Had a great ‘medium’ breakfast which was very filling and clearly made with quality and local produce. Will definitely visit again!

My first visit here and it won't be the last. A great first impression smile and very attentive even though very busy on Saturday morning. I had medium breakfast beautifully cooked. Going to try their special menu board, lots of variety today with my husband, looking forward to that.

Delicious breakfast at the Dolphin today, I had high expectations and it did not disappoint. Friendly service, quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and served piping hot, including the coffee. An honest plate of food. I was pleased I went for the medium breakfast and not the large as it was plenty.

Booked a table for 4 for breakfast and upon arrival it was a great welcome from Kelly and a warm atmosphere. We ordered our breakfasts and drinks and they all arrived within a good time. The breakfast was fantastic and we wanted to book the next day to do it again but sadly they are closed on a Sunday, however whenever we are in town we will certainly be back. Thank you

What an amazing change to the place. Lovely decor, so light and airy. My wife and I enjoyed breakfast today. It was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Sumptuous sausage and super tasty bacon. Nice toast and limitless tea. All locally sourced. Cannot recommend the place highly enough. Thanks to chef Sean and front of house Kelly. Great value. Can’t wait to sample their supper nights. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

We have been twice to the Dolphin, once for breakfast and once for lunch. Both meals were extremely well cooked and used quality ingredients. The large breakfast was a real feast to keep you going all day. When we went for lunch we had the halibut from the specials board and it was superb. Can't wait for them to get their licence and to be open in the evenings. With some background music and candles, it will help build an atmosphere. The new Dolphin is a very welcome addition to the town from our perspective and we will be going back.
