"I revisited this restaurant for the first time in several years since it changed to Duck and Bean in 2020, and it's definitely worth seeking out as it's tucked away from the high street. It was quite busy during my visit, but there are outdoor seating options available. The food is fantastic, with delicious breakfast and lunch choices that are bursting with flavor. I highly recommend the ham hock hash for breakfast and the Monte Cristo for lunch. The coffee was excellent as well. The service was fast and very friendly. Just a note: the restrooms are located up some steep stairs, so they may not be suitable for those needing accessible facilities. Since it's an old building with thick walls, I also had no mobile signal inside. However, these aren't complaints— I really enjoyed my experience and will definitely return as often as I can!"

We stopped at Tiverton on our way back from a trip south. The welcome we got was lovely, the staff were attentive and the food was first class. Lots of local stuff. A fine choice. Thank you. Really nice, local independent coffee shop and cafe. Always welcoming and friendly, never offhand or uninterested. Inside and outside seating, dog friendly. Great coffee which is much better than the local branch of a national chain, and better priced, too. Haven't tried the food but the cake is very good, on my visits it's been more flapjacks and traybakes than proper slices of cake, but they're very good. Food: 5
