"We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for years, but our last visit left us extremely disappointed. We waited an eternity for our drinks, even though it wasn’t particularly busy, and we had already finished a couple of cakes by the time they arrived. I ordered what was advertised as a Hot Chocolate, but it was more like lukewarm milk with a beige tint. It was so cold that I could have downed it in one sip if it had any hint of chocolate flavor. My wife's coffee was just as disappointing—barely warm. Additionally, the staff seemed disengaged and lacked any interaction with customers. It’s disheartening to say that I will not be returning after many years, unless there are improvements. On a positive note, the seating layout is still convenient, making it easy to find a spot even on rainy days. I hope you take this as constructive criticism, as we would hate to not return and support a local business."

A great little stop for those cycling in the area. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, bike storage and parking should you need it. I would say the food and drink is priced on the high side, but there are quite a few options and will cater for most tastes.

I’ve been a frequent visitor to this café for years, and it has always been great. However, today was especially impressive! The bacon bap was excellent, and the spicy apple slice was simply superb—moist and incredibly flavorful. Thank you! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Well made coffee, Would visit more often if the ordering process was more pleasant... Rather than ordering and being couped up inside waiting , it would be better if customers could go and sit and be called to collect order when it's ready like your edge by sea branch. It gets too busy inside to wait as staff are putting through too many orders on the till for the baristas to keep up and people overspill the waiting area being cramped inside . Feels too rushed .
