"Visited: 29/6/18 Food Standards' Rating: 5/5 Our friends had already arrived, and were sitting out the back on the patio area. First drinks. Had a good bit of banter with the people greeting guest. Really friendly atmosphere. Seating on the patio was extremely comfortable. Getting more drinks was easy peasy. A chap came and took our food order, and then with more drinks coming we went inside to our table. Five of us in total. I ordered the salmon, with the grapefruit and wasn't disappointed; I could have eaten more.... Before they took the food order they alerted us to the fact that there were only two fillet steaks left if we wanted to lay claim to them, and my friend and I did. I eaten at places before that claim that the steaks are 28 days' old. These were absolutely perfect. I had mine cooked blue, and it was beautiful. A crusting of crack pepper, and it was sumptuous. £27. None of the steaks are actually shown on the menu, so it really does depend upon what is available. Aubrey's dry aged beef. My wife had the fish cakes for her main, and really liked them. Pre-dinner drinks consisted of Gin and Fevertree tonic, Pinot Grigio, I stuck to Beck's, but my friend had some other light beer and lager, neither to my taste. With meal the women had Viognier £25? , and us two blokes had a Malbec £35 . The waiter took time to explain about the Malbec, and was very enthusiastic in providing the details. Full marks for his love of what he does. OK. Ready for this...... With a rounding up with a tip £400 for the five of us. I put it down the ladies' tonic waters....."

Such a great spot. Harry the manager is doing a wonderful job with this place. Great for a drink or two, unreal for some food with a great wine list (brilliant range). Thoroughly recommend it. Luckily we live nearby, need to go more! Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is superb and the service is excellent, with a friendly welcome. I will definitely be returning soon. The price per person is around £70-80. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a rating of 5 out of 5. I recommend trying the Honey Mustard Glazed Ham, Free Range Eggs, and Chucky Chips.

Excellent find, Sammy was very helpful and sat us on very short notice. Food was served quickly and of high quality, I had a delicious burger and my partner had steak even the dog got a little bowl of gravy bones. Did not eat so cannot comment on food, but ambience/atmosphere was good and staff really know the drinks they have on sale. Drinks presentation was perfect. Will go on another day to try food as menu looked good. Wheelchair accessibility: This is via a ramp at side of building and from car park. You need to go through restaurant but worth it. We had an amazing night on October 6th celebrating Annie's birthday at this restaurant. The food was outstanding, especially the beef dish. Thanks to Stu and his team for the delicious meal. Harry and his staff provided excellent service, giving our group undivided attention. The dining area was beautifully decorated for the occasion and we were greeted with drinks upon arrival. It was a fabulous night enjoyed by all, thanks to Harry and his staff for making it an unforgettable experience.
