Awful service horrible man on phone food was freezing very bad mannered staff and food was awful avoid at all costs wasn’t even offered a refund

We recently had the best fish and chips we've had in a long time at this restaurant. The batter was crispy, the food was hot, and the delivery was quick. My husband also enjoyed his steak pie and white pudding.

It took over an hour to receive my food from Just Eat and it was still late. The taste was awful and very greasy. It did not resemble a traditional chipper. I felt ill all night afterwards, and I am not a picky eater. Visualizza piatti

Just had their fish and chips, I have to review this disgusting mess I was just served up, the fish in batter was saturated in oil, the fish itself was I believe was old frozen, poorly prepared. The chips were edible, just paid 7.70 for this mostly inedible mess.

Rather than have a chipper supper I decided to try a few single dishes tried haddock goujons soggy batter fish no taste tried haggis pudding dry and a very bad after taste red pudding very rubbery and battered jumbo sausage hardly any flavour I would avoid this if u enjoy a good chippy

ordered king rip supper and fish supper,it was cold and soggy and totally drenched in oil and tasted vile. sweety mystery box for 6.99 contained some squashed sticky kids sweet(3 for a pound sort of asda thing),if it would have looked fit for consumption u'd have to scrape it of the cardboard box. 25 quid wasted and got to cook as i am not brave enough to eat since i'd end up having the shi*ts at work tmrw. The customer service at this restaurant is extremely poor. I placed an order and it took 40 minutes to arrive, even though I live only 5 minutes away. When I raised my concerns with Mr. Main, he initially apologized and blamed the delay on a new delivery boy. However, when my food arrived cold, he denied any responsibility. I then spoke to another Mr. Main, who I assumed was the owner, and he dismissed my complaints and placed the blame on me. Overall, the service was absolutely appalling. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I wish I could review the food but after 3 and a half hours after ordering the doorbell finally went and woke my kids up at half 10 We don’t even live in a minky area !! Why would we be wanting a chipper at 10:30pm when I’d reckon minks eat when it’s cheaper I imagine the delivery man could tell you how it tasted ! I think he’s probably still got black pudding up his nostrils and pickled onions where the sun won’t shine . I’m only hoping my kids wake up in the morning with a decorum of nutrition.. I’m fading fast and trying not to eat my dog right now ... at least the sound of my belly rumbling is drowning out the sobs and hunger crying games I can hear from my precious fading away children....

I had ordered online then turned up for my fish, chips and white pudding. On arrival I walked in and noticed that the place is not clean at all. The work surfaces and floor were so dirty it was unbelievable. The owner I think, walked in and went to wash his hands but didn't have a towel to dry his hands, so he wiped his wet hands on his jacket sleeves. He then began packaging up food orders and was picking the cooked food up with his bare hands. When I saw this, it was the final straw, bearing in mind we are presently battling the Coronavirus pandemic. I therefore said cancel my order, and requested my money back.
