First visit to the Ramblings establishment in Rye, and it was a very good one indeed. The staff managed to squeeze us in on a very busy Sunday afternoon and from then onwards, couldn't do enough for us. The Lamb on the Sunday Menu was delightful and I highly recommend it. Will most definitely be coming back!

During a spontaneous trip, we decided to stop by for a late lunch/snack, and we definitely got our money's worth! The food at Globe Marsh was absolutely incredible, with stunning flavors and generous portions. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I came across a Google review claiming this is the best pub in the world, and while it’s not bad, I wouldn’t go that far. The layout is a bit strange and the menu can be confusing. The staff is friendly, but you have to wait for them to come around and take your order. The food we ordered was decent, although we had to ask for everything to be brought to us. I might consider visiting again.

This was out first visit to Rye and we are absolutely delighted with this beautiful village in East Sussex. But what really captivated us in to coming back many more times is The Globe Inn Marsh. The place is absolutely brilliantly decorated, the service is outstanding, but the food is something out of this world. I recommend the daily plates, the catch of the day and their craft beer selection is to die for.

In May 2022, I highly recommend this restaurant if it's your first visit. We stopped here for lunch, and the interior decoration is stunning, complemented by excellent service. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We shared the fish platter for two, which was abundant, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Found this pub whilst looking for dog friendly venues. We received a warm greeting and were shown to a cozy corner and promptly visited with a member of smiling staff who asked us what we would like to drink. The selection of beers was top notch and I couldn't resist having a 2nd pint. I had the halloumi burger and my wife had the pasta dish which we both enjoyed very much. The interior is wonderfully decorated with objects of interest everywhere you look and the atmosphere relaxed and fun. The staff were attentive and friendly and our dog loved the place. Highly recommended.

We discovered this pub on Happy Cow and made a reservation. We were excited to see they offered pizza with vegan cheese, but were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of daily vegan specials, like a spicy butternut squash dish and tofu with roasted red peppers and fresh salad, which I enjoyed very much. The staff took vegan eating seriously, as they helped another diner who had questions about ingredients. The service was friendly and efficient, and the outdoor seating was comfortable even on a slightly rainy evening. They also have a great gin menu! However, we were pleasantly surprised to find a variety of daily special dishes that could also be made vegan, such as a spicy butternut squash dish and tofu with roasted red peppers and fresh salad. I opted for the tofu dish and it was delicious! Despite being an omnivorous restaurant, they take vegan options seriously and even helped a customer at the next table with their dietary restrictions. The service was friendly and efficient, and we enjoyed sitting outside under a canopy even though it was slightly drizzling. They also have an extensive gin menu. We would love to retur...
