"Excellant! Food amazing , My Father who is quite elderly has been very unwell recently and lost his appetite. Was heart warming to see him enjoy his delicious fish and chips , most he has eaten in months. Thanks as well for the tip off from lovely chap who served us to order children's portion size for my Mum as she does not have the best of appetite either. Wonderful experience as always . Spotlessly clean , a great pub restaurant, always recommending to family and friends."

Food was ok, we were the only people in the Restaurant! It was all ok, my teapot lid was broken therefore could have been scalded by it falling off!

Very accommodating, friendly service from the staff. Good atmosphere and surroundings. The only negative was the table was sticky but that might be due to the natural wood.

a friendly and simple place to lunch. relaxed atmosphere. great food with good service. many choices on the menu and although not many vegetarian dishes offered, the chosen were really delicious and well presented.

Nice bar, disappointed that three of the deserts weren't available, we ate on a Monday at 7.30pm so it wasn't busy. Being with a 13 year old, desert is essential!! Food was fairly standard for a Gastro pub. Nice evening, service was very good.

nice cozy restaurant/pub. eating was good and well cooked and expensive, but I found the wein a bit expensive. the service was breezy, but a bit out of the hand. the wine to open and pour the first glass would have been beautiful. not just the plonk.

his really very good in every sight eating, atmosphere attentive staff, decorated beautiful and cozy with soft lighting and a real Christmas tree I had the fish and chips, the delicious, light, fluffy and really delicious chips, not at all stodgy. and washes it with a cheap glass sauvingon blanc.

I had the stir fried steak. There were only about 6 pieces, which were cold. There was far too much onion (supposed to be spring onion), but wasn't. The lime and ginger dressing was watery and had no flavour. The Passion fruit Eton mess was served in a bowl and was very sloppy, and definitely looked a mess! My friend had the fishcakes, which were OK, but asparagus was undercooked. Her ice cream was too ordinary for the price!
