The Golden Lion, Weymouth

This pub is incredibly cozy with a lovely courtyard and an excellent variety of beers to choose from.

Lovely setting on the harbour, decent food at reasonable prices. They brew their own lager and certainly worth a taste, it is lovely.

Nice pub style restaurant. I just had a drink here. A beer on behalf of Coffee stout. It smells like caramel and tastes like coffee. Delicious! Recommended. Visualizza piatti

It was just okay. I have visited this restaurant many times over the years. Unfortunately, this visit was missing a lot of what made it great. Disappointing.

Barman was welcoming attentative but the food was awful! A used dog bowl was sat on the window sill at our table,, Table was sticky which was unexpected as we had booked in advance.

Lovely place. We had there wedding dinner with families. Service above and beyond. Food delicious. Also we been for lunch amazing and you can feel freshness in food. For sure we will be back. Visualizza piatti

Not very helpful with a vegan diet, not willing to go out of their way to accommodate needs uf they are not exactly as the menu says unlike the excellent service at the Hall abd Woodhouse in Lower Odcombe.

We have been into this place a few times while on holiday, and every time the food is spot on. You order at the bar, to one of the friendly staff. Food took around 15-20 minutes to come out, and it was very hot. I had the double cheese burger, which had a hint of spice in, and was amazing. We also had the chicken wings, Ham, egg and chips, a fish finger sandwich. It's not the cheapest of places, nor is it the most expensive. Would I go there again 100% would I recommend 100%.

Ok, beer is getting expensive everywhere, but this place is mental. It's not a particularly premium establishment but the prices suggest that you have entered a wormhole in Weymouth and emerged in London, in 2050. Food prices are ridiculous and FAR better can be found in many, many pubs and restaurants in the area for much less. But, the beer prices are offensive, £6.25 for a non-premium lager and with a good 10mm missing from the top, followed by a look of incredulity when you ask for a full pint despite being financially ra#ed in real time.
