Best burgers I've ever had. Choice is amazing and served by friendly welcoming staff . I had the beaten boxer burger and would highly recommend. Good value steak orientated restaurant in center of North Berwick. Excellent steaks and very friendly and honest service (advised against a particular starter as wouldn’t allow enough room for the steak). "Away in North Berwick for a week and visited several times because the food and service is that good. Between us we have sampled most of the Tapas menu and the dishes are all absolutely delicious. Pizzas are all freshly made and again delicious. My...daughters each had a steak and while they were a little thinner than expected, both were perfectly cooked. Next, the service. This is absolutely exceptional. The staff are all so welcoming and professional and this establishment should be proud of them all. Not only is this place a lovely place to eat but it is also a lovely place to relax over a glass of wine or two. Pleasant and comfortable surroundings in the front of the place and a lovely additional dining area at the back . All of which is tastefully decorated. All in all an absolutely delightful experience for the money. If we are ever back in North Berwick we will definitely visit again."

"We googled the best Sunday roast in North Berwick and we found it at The Puffin! The roast beef with all the trimmings was delicious The beef was tender , the vegetables cooked to perfection and the gravy had the right amount of seasoning very often , from experience, chefs over season with salt and ruin it) The atmosphere was nice with other diners bringing their very well behaved pooches to sit quietly under the tables. I saw a staff member bring a dog a bowl of water , very sweet. It’s a family run affair, with super friendly staff . Recommend highly ."

"My wife and I had dinner here and it was lush. Last time I had an Italian meal like this we were in Bardolino. My wife had the Haggis Arancini which was a special and I had the Calamari fritti from the starters to kick off. I had a taste of the arancini which was really nice, but the Calamari was exceptionally good. Sometime Calamari can lose it's flavour as you chew but not this dish. Really good. For my main I had the Venison Papardelle from the specials and it was delicious. A perfectly balanced Venison ragù and melt in the mouth pasta. For dessert I had the tiramisù which was lovely. My wife had the panacotta. It was all washed down with a very nice pinot grigio and the whole meal was very reasonable, price wise. Would definitely recommend Cucina Amore. "I went in at 15:34 hrs asked for a cup of tea only to be told by a young female member of staff that they stopped serving at 15:30. I understand that they close at 16:00hrs but it doesn’t take long to pour some hot water on a tea bag so I cannot comment on the quality of the cake, that I would have purchased, as I was not allowed to spend any money? It looks nice but make sure you go in well before 15:30hrs. Service: 1"

"This restaurant gets by on the bare minimum. The food lacks any atmosphere, served alongside a piece of lettuce and tomato straight out of the 90s, with the rest being just average. The decor hasn't been updated since 2012, and to top it off, the bill was hand-written with no VAT receipt. Interesting experience, to say the least."
