"We visited The Greyhound for a post lockdown family reunion. As usual, the beer and drinks selection was fantastic, and they serve a great pint. The food however was a real letdown. I understand that the selection is limited but the food was just a...bit disappointing a bit cold, chips a bit soggy and cheese on nachos microwaved rather than grilled. The pork crackling was terrible soggy, cold, fatty and tasted of old oil, and we sent it back. It was replaced with some that was marginally better but still pretty dire. The food used to be great good pub grub with a twist please sort it out Derby Brewing Company!"

Went to watch the England game with family and did the beer and burger offer. Food was delicious, beer was great and staff couldn’t have been better. Shame about the football though!

Superb Sunday lunch. Perfect Yorkshires, Beef and gravy. Plus tasty vegetables and friendly staff. Would definitely go again if we lived in the area. We'll worth a visit. Clean and welcoming environment.

Called in for a coffee and ended up having one of the best Sunday lunches I have had in a long time everything was perfectly cooked, we had the roast beef and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent value for a top class meal.

A massive thank you to all the staff that were working last night. You were all so accommodating, so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure the evening went as smoothly as possible. The whole wedding party spoke highly of the venue, staff...and food. Thank you for saving the day!

Myself and my wife did the bottomless brunch today. The breakfast was nice, we don't normally do the American' style with maple sauce, but it was all cooked to perfection. We ended up with bottles of prosecco and left a bit merry but it...was bottomless! Will look to do it again and try something different on the menu.

Managed to get a table outside for to watch the football, have some beers and get something to eat. And what a great service we got at the Greyhound. Warm welcome and taken to a table outside ina really well laid out area. TV...set up was spot on, very efficient and friendly service. Excellent selection of ales and ciders. I went for the Rhubarb cider that was delicious. We got some great freshly cooked burger and fries, again delicious. Enjoyed a great night at the Greyhound.

I came on my birthday after another pub cancelled on me last minute to sit in the beer garden. The beer garden is covered and heated, which was so good because it was freezing outside! They came and gave me a birthday drink, and a...birthday cheesecake! It was a lovely surprise and made my visit and my birthday overall amazing. Will definitely be coming back for another drink/ meal and recommend everyone else does. Lovely pub atmosphere and a very homely feel, warm and sheltered. Wonderful experience. Thankyou all!

Me and a friend visited the Greyhound, as we entered we were greeted and checked in by a very kind chef who showed us to our table and helped us navigate their trendy new app. We were really impressed with their extensive drink selection and...decided to try some beer brewed by Derby Brewing Company themselves, business as usual being the winner for me! For food we both opted for the Buffalo Fried Chicken Burger which was to die for! We were both very pleased with our visit and can't wait to return to try more of what this amazing place has to offer!

"My friend and I wanted somewhere different to go for some late lunch and so we decided on the Cosy Club. Although my friend had been once before a while back, it was my very first time visiting. As you walk in, you're greeted with an almost vintage-y feel and it's great! Old paintings upon the wall and retro furniture too, but that's not all. Ascending the stairs to the top, we got to the first bit of the club which is the bar area and what a fab area it is too, to relax and enjoy and Beveridge or two. Further down is where the restaurant is located and a lovely restaurant it is too. Very ornate with a fancy oldy-worldy vibe, almost like stepping back in time. The decor and glass chandeliers make for a very luxurious, almost palatial feel. The staff were really friendly and showed us to a table where after a short time of waiting, we had water poured for us before choosing what we'd like to eat and drink. I decided to go for the dirty chicken burger and I'm glad I did. The portion size was great, and there was plenty going on in the burger; the flavours were tantalising! Everything was cooked really well and tasted good (oh and the berry cider they have is certainly worth a try! After spending time enjoying our meal, we paid for the bill and were able to make our way, with our drinks, to the bar area to take a sit and enjoy the vibe further. I would certainly recommend the Cosy Club to anyone looking for something different, with a cool vibe and great food. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable visit, will certainly be returning! :"
