Such a shame. Great location and good food. Very inexperienced waiting staff let the whole thing down.

this pub is always welcoming, although sitting on the window yesterday, he was a little scared. we had all sunday roasts that were good (lovably roasted bark).

Highly recommended , easy to book and get all information required on line, excellent food and very knowledgeable and attentive service from Maddy our waitress. Will certainly return .

The food was luke warm and just thrown on the plate the yorkshire pudding was cold and the food was tasteless, in fact so much so, I sent my trio of roast back. The staff looked worn out and rushed off their feet ???? all in all, a disaster on this occasion!

The staff were slow the starter was terrible. We was told they had no olives so we would get extra bread. Charged 6.95 f9r ot very disappointing. The sea bass was excellent. Unfortunately they are very under staffed . We went to try as we were considering Christmas Dinner for 12 . Unfortunately this isn't the place for us.

We were a party of five and we all had the Sunday roast. The beef was cooked pink as we like it and the pork plentiful although crackling not as large as hoped. Vegetables were O.K. Overall quantity was large. Service excellent. The original pub has been altered and modernised well and the annexe room bright and sunny. The main part is a little dark.

sometimes, when they book a restaurant based on reviews, it can be a leap of faith, but we were not disappointed. the service was not so good, and all the staff were very friendly, especially abi, who was very attentive. the menu choice was also wide and we all enjoyed what we ordered. although it wasn't close to where we live, it was definitely worth the trip.

I visited here very often, as it was our car club location around 2017. not since c19 etc. back. today back to the completely renovated place. had a great meal, polly our server was great, even to manage to find a safety needle for the dress of my wife after a light barrier disorder. it was our 25-year anniversary, dessert came written on a very big teller with happy anniversary in chocolate, on which it was a beautiful note. wife (it was a complete surprise for her) was very impressed. all in a great evening.

We went here for the first time for my boyfriend's father's birthday (4 of us) and it was just as amazing as we thought it would be!My boyfriend and I take our dog training behind the restaurant and have been eyeing it up for so long as it was unfortunately closed during covid.The food was amazing! (very much like the White Horse in Bearsted, which is my fav so think I have found another new favorite restaurant!)The interior was stunning I couldn't stop looking around, you would think the mix of patterns and colours wouldn't go but they looked AMAZING! I want to do the same in my house!It was a little bit pricey but with the food quality and experience, I would say it is worth every penny.Th...
