"Booked months ago requested a window table for a special celebration. Arrived 5 mins before booking no window table available. Noisy but not in a busy Trattoria style restaurant, Zero ambience. Asked if I would like any condiments when my main arrived, requested and never arrived. Ordered an espresso and got just that... no sugar! Booking requests smart casual several tables with diners wearing shorts!! Was asked twice if it was a special occasion and confirmed it was, only for them to deliver 2 birthday cake muffins to the table next to ours! We didn't get any! Was not given the choice to add the gratuity as they had already included it when presenting the card machine! Not the dining experience I expected from The Ivy, it's no more than a trumped up Wetherspoons!!! Won't be going again, there are far better restaurants in Harrogate"

Great venue lovely ambience outside warm evening and heating made this perfect. Good food and really fab cocktails. Service was very good forgot our celebration plate but this didn’t detract from a really special evening.

We came to the Ivy on a Saturday evening to celebrate an anniversary and birthday. From the moment we walked through the door to paying the bill we had excellent service. The food was really tasty especially the starters from the Thai selection. I would not be put off by any bad reviews on here the whole experience was truly wonderful.

Beautiful birthday meal at 4.45pm for 4 of us-exceptional service, food was just perfect and vegan meal for myself was divine. We went at this time as knew it would be quieter for my parents and proved to be perfect time to go . The staff could not do enough for us and my partner got a birthday cake surprise and i got dried ice served with my frozen berries dessert which was another nice touch
