I went out for a spontaneous meal with friends and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was stunning—absolutely no complaints! As for the drinks, I didn’t have any since I was the designated driver, but the food was fantastic. I would rate the service a perfect 5, as well as the location. Overall, this place offers great value!

The King's Head Inn is very conveniently located at the bottom of a scenic viewing spot of the Roseberry Toppings. Nothing more refreshing that the homely feeling and pleasant smiles of the staff here. The service is unflawed and the food is delicious. It was busy at the bar the day we went but it was one of the hottest days of the year so to be expected I guess.

We had a fantastic one-night stay. Our reservation was adjusted without any extra charges due to bad weather. The food, drinks, and staff in the evening were outstanding. The rooms were cozy and warm, and the highlight was definitely the amazing breakfast! We truly enjoyed our time and will definitely return soon. The climb up RT the next day was great as well. I returned to the restaurant yesterday, and although our orders took a while to arrive, the attitude and customer service of one staff member really turned things around once he noticed the delay. I can't recall his name, but he has bleached hair and a warm, friendly demeanor. He apologized multiple times, followed up on our main course, and even treated us to an extra round of drinks as a gesture of goodwill. Overall, I would rate the service a 5 and the location a 5.

Ordered turkey Sunday roast , food was cold . And missing stuffing , when asking for the missing stuffing waitress went back to the kitchen and returned saying they didn’t have any . Shouldn’t this of been mentioned at the time of ordering or at the very latest when the waitress brought the food . Wasn’t offered anthing to replace missing item. Would of told them the food was cold if anybody bothered to come and ask if everything was ok . Nice location and decor but service doesn’t match up Service: 2 Location: 4

A fantastic pub to stay at when visiting Roseberry Topping, and conveniently located near Great Ayton. We enjoyed a great deal during the Walk Inn break, which included a welcome drink upon arrival, a package featuring some beautiful walks in the area, a lunch package, and our dinner on the first evening. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly, especially Clo and Rosie. All our meals were excellent, so compliments to the chef!
