"We’ve been here several times for lunch now, it’s always crazy busy but we manage to find somewhere to sit The staff here are fantastic, really friendly and always making sure no one has to wait very long. Then there’s the food!! It is AMAZING!!! So reasonable for the heart of Canterbury, and it is absolutely divine!! We had the house burger yesterday, and both my husband and I agreed it was the best burger we had eaten in a VERY long time!! Even though the pub was crammed as always, with even more waiting for a table, the food came out in a decent time and delicious and hot. for the pub, staff and food!"

What a great little pub. Great music playing while we had our lunch. Catered for a mix of veggie and meat eaters. Lovely all round, would recommend and go again.

Came across this little gem of a pub, staff friendly, food delicious and a good price. Added bonus they are dog friendly too, so win win. Definitely worth a visit.

Cool looking pub with option of beer Garden, beer was under a fiver, food was really good, big sizes and reasonably priced. Staff were nice and helpful and place was clean

This is a great spot for a drink and good conversation. The atmosphere is awesome, great music. We were here during our 5 year wedding anniversary, the ladies behind the counter took the time to write us a list of things we needed to do. Looking forward to returning!

So pleased to go to this pub whilst visiting Canterbury. Very quirky, music themed (alternative) and offered a great menu for vegans and vegetarians as well as meat eaters. Staff were very friendly. My only tiny criticism was the food all came out and we had to ask for cutlery. Not best practice. Would definitely recommend.

Visiting Canterbury for the very first time, over Christmas, my partner, dog and I were hungry and thirsty having spent the afternoon exploring the cathedral. What a great pub. Very reasonably priced compared to a couple of others we tried in the city centre, the Dark Star American Pale Ale, Gosling's Dark Rum and burgers with home-made dips and mayonnaise were superb. Very welcoming staff too. We'll be back.

Fantastic pub! Wither you go on a quiet night or a busy weekend night the atmosphere is one you don't get elsewhere, staff are fantastic (special mention to Jehmima and Kai on Saturday night, who gave me drink recommendations, spent time talking to me even when it was busy and were a great duo to watch having fun when working together). They have 2 for £10 cocktails, rock music, great staff friendly locals . Just wish I lived locally!

This is the most underrated pub. We’ve never had a bad meal, drinks are very reasonable too. The menu is a godsend for us as one of our daughters has serious allergies to eggs and nuts. They are super clued up about allergens so would recommend this pub to anybody with an allergy. They have a great vegan range of foods too, as well as lots of meat options and fish options. There’s a lovely little beer garden at the back or if you like people watching, there are a few tables on the high street. Would highly recommend
