"We had a fantastic first meal at the Lodge, so we decided to book a second one for the following night. The food was superb, featuring a diverse menu with popular options like burgers and fish and chips. We particularly loved the homemade pie, lamb, and the excellent pork fillet special. The cheese and biscuits were delightful, and the desserts were obviously made in-house and were delicious. This was the best value we experienced during our two-week holiday, and the service was excellent in the cozy, modern dining area."

we have booked our first meal in the lodge so for the following night. eating was really good with a varied menu, including popular choices such as burger and fish and chips, but we enjoyed home made cake, lamb and the pork fillet special that was excellent. the cheese and the biscuits were wonderful and the sweets were made clear 'in the house' and delicious. it was the best we had on our two weeks vacation and the service was great in a small, modern dining place.

This is a fantastic place to dine if you're staying at the campsite. The Lodge primarily serves the racecourse and accommodates stable staff on race days, and the decor in the entrance hall highlights this focus. However, I commend the choice to utilize the building and its amenities even outside of race days. The food was excellent—I had pigeon breast and sea bass—and the dining area has a wonderful ambiance that makes the experience enjoyable. Just one request for next time: decaf coffee, please!
