"As far as Wetherspoons go, it isn’t one of the worst of them. However, it has an extremely dark and dingy look to it, that makes it unappealing. Although it is a very large venue and has plenty of available seating and also has quite a large outside seating area. For the area (as it’s trying to be high end) it needs a bit of a refurbishment and someone to open the curtains. They do have the bog standard Wetherspoon menu, so if you’ve been to one you’ve been to all but the “chefs” can let the site down."

Bottle of decent wine and a pint of excellent IPA £14:50. What more do I need to say? Excellent breakfast also.

It was a Friday night so very busy but what you would expect from a weatherspoons cheap prices must sat staff very friendly

Went here for lunch today. We both had the curry. Food was lovely, nice and hot, plenty of it and very good quality /value. The staff were really nice. Will be back.

Our order was disaster. They served 3 onion rings instead of 6 onion rings. The grilled chicken breast was not grilled.. it was boiled. They served our order with different sauce. Unfortunately the McDonald's is much better choice!

Good for gathering with friend or family. A spacious free house. The food quality is fair (seems little lower than high street pubs. But the free house seems to paying the tribute to Lord Nelson. They launch a tasting festival if ale, nice to explore.

On a day, I needed to have a good, not expensive meal. While working through a lot. The service was great. The deal surprised me. As i thought, I was under charged, even questioning my order. For them to confirm its going through as a deal. Good food for the money. Nice atmosphere.

Had the large breakfast which wasn’t actually that large, however this was a blessing in disguise. This was the worst breakfast I think I’ve ever had, Eggs cold and under cooked, everything else cold, awful tasting sausages. Best bit was the toast which was obviously cold…. Every bottle of ketchup 5% full. Coffee machine hit and miss. Interior very tired everything worn to within an inch of its use. I would definitely not recommend eating here.
