GREAT pub. Big space, exceptionally good food, fab atmosphere, big range of drinks. Staff are really helpful. Dog friendly too!

My favourite pub in Crouch End, very good beer and wine selection (my friends and I just love their Provence! . You can’t go wrong with the food as it’s freshly made and just super delicious. The service is also top notch, thanks Gosha for always making sure we’re having a good time.

The Maynard has a really great atmosphere, food and amazing staff! In particular our waitress Ruby was really attentive, kind and funny and absolutely made our night here. Being a waitress can be a demanding job but she makes it look easy and fun, establishments need more people like her! Would definitely come back :

A group of six of us ate here last night. We had the veal ragu, the butternut squash and chestnut pasta, the arcincini, vegan burger and pie. We were blown away by the quality of the cooking and savoured every bite. Definitely top restaurant quality, rather than pub food. Also our waiter was absolutely lovely, friendly, optimistic in the face of covid, and delivered top notch service.

I had a lovely couple of pints in the Maynard last week! Having moved South of the river (it's not as bad as I'd imagined), I get back to this boozer far less than I'd like. It's a strange time in pubs at the moment but we were looked after excellently from the moment of arrival by our host Elle who ensured that the systems were clear and didn't inhibit a great pub experience. All round a lovely evening, I'll have to stray North again soon!

Another great afternoon/evening in the Maynard Arms! The staff were so helpful and even found us a table outside.. despite being quite busy on a sunny Sunday in Crouch End. After going in for one drink, myself and my other half stayed 5 rounds later into the evening. Special thanks to the manager who was kind enough to take time out and have a quick chat and sort us out with seats for the sold out comedy gig the same evening. We will definitely be back!

Myself, my friend, and her young daughter visited today and had a couple of drinks and some food. The fish and chips was fantastic, I especially liked the Tartar sauce! The rib eye steak with brisket stuffed mushroom was to die for, and the mac n cheese....... Well, its mac n cheese!! delicious!! However what really made our visit was the service provided, it was top draw, we could not fault a thing! The food was lush, the drinks went down a treat, but I would genuinely come back based on the awesome service we were given by the lovely Jess! Thank you for the hospitality, we will definitely be visiting again soon!

I went here for my Birthday celebration and it really was a lovely place. They had a good system in regards to Covid 19, we wore face masks, had allocated seats and gave our numbers on entry felt very safe. The food was really well cooked and we all enjoyed the experience. The main highlight was that we had a lovely waitress called Ruby, she was really attentive to our needs and went the extra mile to ensure that we had drinks, food was going to plan, aided my friend who could not eat gluten and also helped my sister out. She really made the experience lovely so a massive shout out to her. I would go back again and would encourage anyone to try out this pub, it is in a lovely location, food...

I popped into the Maynard for a swifty while out doing ‘the shopping’. I thought I’d treat myself to a pint after spotting a reduced bag of broccoli that looked next to as perfect a bag of broccoli as I’ve ever seen. No idea why it was reduced! I was certainly looking forward to sharing my happy story with someone. I was warmly welcomed into this homely pub by the hostess and shown to a nice table near a window. I order a lager top and set about placing my winnings on the table.
