Food Alright but poor service waited an hour for starters then another hour for mains cheap but wouldn't go again

We have dined here many times and NEVER have we had anything negative to say about this restaurant ....We would recommend it to everyone

Pre booked a table with a groupon voucher. Turned up to eat and tables were being removed from the restaurant. THIS RESTAURANT HAS CLOSED. Looking for a refund from Groupon. We decided to go to ALAMS LOUNGE at Higham and had a great curry. Thanks to all the staff at Alams Lounge.

Bought this meal as a group on gift. The welcome was very friendly. The two girls serving were smashing really friendly too. The pickle tray was amazing 10 to choose from. Starters were very very nice and the main course was excellent too. Will be back. Just a point there is no alcohol served.

Ordered a takeaway to be delivered through Just Eat. Excellent food, even as a vegetarian (it can be tricky), I had the Okra Bhaji as a main, and it was beautiful. It all arrived hot, tasted very fresh, and alongside 2 further mains with rice and sides, and starters, it was very good value for restaurant quality food. Highly recommended! Thank you. I visited this restaurant with my family, and the temperature inside was freezing. There were only a few fan heaters available, which customers were fighting over. We had to wait a long time for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was disgusting. The waitress was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I would not recommend this place, as there are much better Indian restaurants nearby with superior food and customer service.

We visited this restaurant after we noticed it had changed hands and was now not serving alcohol (don't worry you can bring your own) Really good food at reasonable prices. We visited on a Sunday night , and whilst it was fairly quiet there we two people serving so we were not kept waiting too long for a seat or to order our food . The pickle tray has to get a mention, you may get two to three pickles in some restaurant but here you get 9 pickles , all delicious !! It won't be long before we are back

After being regular customers for at least the past 10 years, tonight's visit will definitely be our last. While the food has always been excellent (in fact, the best Indian food in Barnsley), the restaurant and service have gradually declined. Tonight, we found the restaurant to be freezing, heated by only one small heater. Despite being the only customers in the restaurant, the service was incredibly slow - we waited over 45 minutes for our main course after our poppadoms, while takeaway customers were served before us.
