what a beautiful place! eating was fantastic! really friendly and beautiful staff too! that is my idea of a real country pubs. Of course I can not recommend this place very well enough and we will return safely soon.

Went with cycle club, so they expected us, however other than a few stale scones 2 bits of cake a brownie, that was it! Even served the scone with no jam a fork! (no cream either) Coffee was good tho. Sorry but you really do need to up your game if you're going to succeed as a cafe as well as a pub. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

what a brilliant pub. warm, friendly and welcoming. three good real ales served directly out of the barrel. very friendly barmann and regular obviously all known, but when they arrive as stranger, they will definitely leave a friend. one that returns. my special thanks to john and mike who saved my travel when the bus didn't show up and gave me a lift to the stubborn market.

I cannot thank the team enough for their hard work in making my birthday celebration so special. We were fortunate to have a private dining area all to ourselves, which was perfect for our party, especially with the children who can be a bit challenging.
