Wow, the location, the food, the beautiful outdoor spaces. Now looking to find some camp sites locally just to pop back to this Pub. Amazing place

this was our second visit impromptu, beautiful environment and in the summer fab will sit outside. eating is all freshly cooked and very high quality, the staff is very friendly and will help them with everything. the menu is really affordable in price and good value. they would highly recommend the Oakley Army. I have dined at this restaurant in the past and have fond memories of delicious food. However, my recent visit was disappointing. The staff seemed less attentive and the food was not up to par. After notifying the management, they apologized and made adjustments to the bill. I plan to give them another chance, as I believe this was just an off day due to staffing issues and high customer volume.

I usually can't blame the oakley we've been here for years, especially for special occasions because of the first-class service we always get and the beautiful environment, but we went to Sunday lunch on 29 May and must say was disappointed. the meal was not everywhere near its usual high standard, the workers were actually fed by their feet, as it was really busy, but we were shown at our table, then it was a good 10 minutes before someone asked if we wanted to drink, we asked for a wine menu that never came to go so on the bar, to be exactly as the food came back so 1 member of the party had to eat

our first visit, and it was for our second wedding anniversary, we had a pretty early table when I drove (from newport) and knew that after eating I would delight a few drinks in our city. we were received and sitting politely and efficiently and found the ground personnel fully attentive. our order was made for appetizers and most importantly after we had made our decisions, and that came to eat. it was very pleasant; I had the pigeon breast star and my wife had garlic mushrooms, both were delicious. net, I had a rag steak (a very good rag and cooked just like a rare one) and my better half had the venison suet, both beautiful. we went into gloomy, I had a hot wad with around and rosin ice,...
