"Looks like the pub has new owners, as it was much quieter than when we had been there previously. The starters took an age to arrive, but when they did they were good. The main meal was disappointing, with the beef on two of the four meals tough and under cooked. The manager explained that they had a new chef and reduced the drinks bill removed the cost of a bottle of wine and some of the beers and removed one of the mains from the bill. Overall a disappointing experience, as we expected the high level of food and ambience experienced previously"

finally. a non-plastic, non-equipped, not money munching concentrated, impersonally so called beautiful vintage inn .just a today's version of a country pub with what I know is good beer, friendly and friendly staff and what looks like good honest eating. .lovely and ever more rare....Please use and help to go on. Country pub. Sunday lunch was a limited menu of primarily roasts. Large if a little over excessive portion sizes. Potatoes could have been crispy and no crackling with the pork and had to ask specially for apple sauce. Veg nicely cooked al dente and meat portions very generous. it is not often found you a traditional pub restaurant that serves all boxes warm cozy atmosphere, excellent customer service from all employees, amazing quality of food served just as it should be, as well as a delicious menu that offers nutritional needs and allergens. plus the perfect selection of accompanying drinks. as a family of 10, we have celebrated our nans 91rd birthday our entire experience was 5* from the beginning to finish what a great team, thanks to steve and his personal great coffee costa dan!
