The Old Bank York - Menu

Went here over the weekend and had a fab time! The food was great and cocktails were made well! I had a lovely chat with a lady behind the bar, Stacie I think was her name. She went out of her way to make my experience a great one and was a right laugh. Will be returning :

Eating was shockingly bad. avoid eating. no table service, order was over app and half was missing and what we got was cold and bad quality. the table manager did her best to fix the problems, but it was all terrible. the venue has a beautiful atmosphere and the band was good and fun.

Great chicken and avocado salads. Some nice outside seating. Staff really attentive and great service despite it being a busy afternoon during the heatwave. Bethany was really friendly and very knowledgeable around gluten free options. Good gluten free menu and drink options available.

I had booked a table and they had no record about it, although I had an email booking confirmation. many things that we have asked that they have not. the food took an hour to come. there were people who had ordered before us to get their food. the cute didn't come when I asked that I bit my head, then had to wait more.

This is a lovely, spacious pub that is well-managed, featuring a sunken back garden that offers protection from the wind. There’s a good variety of beers available, including some cask ales. They also have screens for sports events. The restrooms are clean and well-maintained. Overall, this pub is impressive and comes highly recommended.

Was looking for somewhere for a quick bite before getting the train home. After spending a few days in York eating what I would call “posh food” (crushed avocado and/salmon on everything etc) just wanted something “simple”. Ordered the fish chips and my partner got Mac n cheese. Fish was good, chips average. Portion size was enough to feel full. Clean, well presented and staff were friendly.

Popped into this pub for a lunch bite with my mum and son. The service couldn’t be faulted with every staff member being friendly and welcoming. We ordered two scampi and one kids fish meal and although tasty the adult meals were the same size as the kids portions and served with what appeared to be a single table spoon of mushy peas. I would visit again but would probably opt for a different meal.

Only after 2 years of Kovid have been to york and went to what was formerly called The Graduate Pub now..All were wonderfully completely new made about... very clean modern and beautiful staff, which were very pleasant and friendly many different drinks and cocktails it also has a narrow closed beer garden very clean and beautiful. We ate there and found the food good quality and very tasty would highly recommend

2 for 1 cocktails, when you order the same drink... Happy with that really. The 'cocktail ' was just vodka, ice and mixer though, which was not what the menu described but it quenched the thirst and kept us satisfied in the heat. We were sat in the beer garden for about 2 hours on a super busy, steaming hot Saturday and the tables seemed to turn over quite frequently, making it a great spot for a few drinks before dinner.
