Came to The Pheasant and we were in for a treat. Beautiful dining area in the conservatory, lots of natural light and space. Catered very well for 4 generations and we finished of having coffee out on the lawn

We love this hotel, staff very friendly and helpful, food yummy. We had my husbands relatives over to lunch on one of the days, and they were most impressed and will join us again next year, that will be the 3rd time we have been. Visualizza piatti

I thought an outstanding hotel. Had a fantastic room (Partridge). Hotel excellent, friendly efficient staff, excellent bar and catering. I though the breakfast selection and quality was the best ever. Very difficult to find fault with anything

Lunch in the restaurant today was as tasty as ever. But one or two of the younger members of staff really do need to brush up on their customer skills. Also, it is a shame that the rolls and butter, for when you look at the menu, have suddenly been dropped.

We went for lunch to celebrate our 55th Anniversary. This was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much. We chose to sit inside which is very attractive, but the terrace looked wonderful too. Met friends for lunch. Advised by two of them to have the tempura prawns. Frankly the batter was awful, thick and greasy so I had to remove the batter from the prawns. The waitress asked if everything was OK and myself and one of the other ladies complained about the awful batter. She said they had an agency chef in. I guess the agency chef went to Bookers to make life easy as that was definitely not batter made on the premises. Sorry

Visited the Pheasant on a Wednesday evening for a family meal while on holiday in Holt. The food and service were excellent. This is a cut above your average restaurant, but not too posh that we couldn't relax and enjoy the food and beautiful orangery dining area. The menu was a little limited but there was a children's menu which kept our fussy little ones happy. It was fairly good value for money too. We'd definately be back if we didn't live so far away!

We stayed at The Pheasant for a few days, the room wasn’t ready so we waited in the bar area. The reception staff member was very welcoming. The room was clean. The service at the hotel wasn’t great, we only ate in the hotel for one night and the food was okay but not quite what I had expected and menu wasn’t vast. One night we had been out for a meal at a friends house and arrived back at the hotel around 10.15pm, we thought we would grab a drink from the bar, there was no one at the bar but then a member of staff appeared and started mopping the floor she told us the bar was closed which we couldn’t believe.
