"They do a good Sunday roast here with a choice of usually turkey, gammon or beef (or a mix if you want) and a Yorkshire pudding and then a selection of vegetables from you which you help yourself to as much as you want. These usually include broccoli, parsnips, cauliflower cheese, peas, carrots, roast potatoes, new potatoes and stuffing. I’ve never gone home anything other than well-fed! The food is served good and hot. Other meals are available from a fairly typical pub menu and drinks of course, both of which you order from the bar. There is no service at tables other than delivering food. The atmosphere is that of a typical pleasant pub and there is plenty of parking outside in the car park which serves a supermarket and other shops."

Great community pub, good food and lovely Sunday roasts. Well kept beer served by friendly staff. Can be very noisy with poor language when sport is on. Dogs welcome.

Since this place was taken over by Zoe in May it has become a very inviting place to drink and eat. It is extremely clean and reasonably priced. Carvery is served every Wednesday and Sunday.

Zoe and the team have worked so hard to freshen the pub up!! What a difference and it feels bigger and brighter somehow! The team and friendly, the cakes are fantastic and the dough balls are addictive!!!

We went on on Sunday at 5pm, the restaurant end was quiet. Excellent carvery, very generous portion of meats, lovely selection of vegetables. For those who don't want to sit in ,you can have a take away . The pub has an outside area and plenty of parking in car park next to it.
