Gone down hill, no chicken left at 6.30, lamb shank was covered in a lumpy ratatouille sauce, fatty lamb ! Will not be going again

Ordered 3 differing small plate items, each was super tasty!! Lovely friendly pub in a beautiful location. Service was outstanding.

The Sunday roast at this restaurant is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. My partner enjoyed the red Thai curry, which was perfectly spiced to his taste. We even got a takeaway Sunday lunch for our dog, Brian the shih tzu!

Visited for Sunday lunch which was excellent love the gravy being served separately as I don’t like my plate “swimming” but husband does! Good selection of vegetables were served including cauliflower cheese (a favourite). Friendly staff, good size car park. Will be returning!

Visited this lovely pub/restaurant, it's been years since I have been here. Staff were really nice, the owner is very nice and clearly passionate about the place and the area. The food was exceptional and all reasonably priced too. Highly recommend with Friends, Family, Couples...

My son had the chicken a la creme with rice and tender stem broccoli, which he loved, while my daughter devoured her fish and chips, commenting on how fresh the batter and fish tasted. The portions were generous, and I was still full hours later. I couldn't fault this hidden gem of a pub and have already made plans to return for Sunday lunch. A big thank you to all the staff at The Plough for a fantastic dining experience.

I recently visited this restaurant with my family to celebrate an anniversary and was impressed by the changes made by new management. The atmosphere and food quality have greatly improved. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the roast dinner we had was outstanding. The carrot and swede were the best I've had in a long time and the gammon was divine. The roasties and Yorkshire puddings were also perfect. If you're considering visiting this restaurant in the beautiful countryside of north Preston, I highly recommend making a reservation.

Nice setting. Plesant staff and good service. Really pleased this pub has reopened. It was busy, especially when the weather is nice and sunny. Food was ok but not brilliant. We had a selection of small plates. Tempura prawns had way too much heavy batter. Not tempura style at all. Mushrooms and chorizo tasty but certainly not creamy! Chips were really great though! Desserts are not worth bothering with. Had Eton mess not sure what it was but it certainly wasn't Eton Mess. Jam mixed with custard maybe? Far too sweet and one limp strawberry on top. Didn't eat much of it.

Such a lovely pub and very friendly welcoming staff. The food is lovely and the choice of drinks is vast. I came with my family for dinner in the evening and the atmosphere was great everyone just enjoying their bank holiday weekend and getting along. It almost felt like being at home. We will most definitely be coming again, hopefully next time we can try the Sunday dinners. Also big thankyou to a young girl called Tommy who made us feel welcome and catered for all our needs and provided excellent table and customer service. And all the other staff were excellent including the manager Michael. Great work guys!
