Nice pub with great atmosphere It becomes a disco pub after 10pm Music is okay and prices are average.

I went to POW to see artful dodger last summer and relive my misspent youth! The roof top is lovely in the sun, crowded but great atmosphere.

requisites old picture house. large front room, lots of side room and comfortable chairs. also a great local beer from the brixton brewery in the bar recommended. xxx

Having read reviews, I was expecting a lot, but sadly those expectations were not met; service was slow and unattentive, and the food was very average pub food. That said, the atmosphere was lively.

they love this place where they can really chill, eat a drink to enjoy before or after a movie or just enjoy refreshments, they can even drink in the movie that is spotless, the personal is all kind, whole atmosphere is great.:

a great place, centrally located in the vibe of brixton. management should be proud of their employees who help to create this and pay them the living wage. the employee due to demonstrations is only risking her call, and means that I cannot recommend the venue to the visitors

Place was packed with drinkers, not many eating, they've obviously tried it before. Typical pub grub menu, looked promising, how can cooking such simple food go so wrong, but it did. Burnt pie, burnt chicken breast, chunky chips hard in the middle, would have had better food next door in KFC, at half the price to no doubt. They would be better off sticking to just selling crips and peanuts!

Went on a Monday night before a gig, even though we arrived at 6pm, the service was shocking, bar staff didn 't even acknowledge we were there until we asked to be served. Ordered food and it took just under an hour to arrive, with no feedback to why our food hadn 't arrived until we asked, which all we got was its a trainee chef working tonigt, they offered to refund us our money but by this stage it was getting to late for that! Our starters arrived which were cold, this indicated to us that they had perhaps been sitting somewhere for a bit and our mains were terrible, the burger patty fell apart and the ribs had no sauce and was again luke warm.
