"My first Afternoon tea experience in the UK- and THE BEST if I may say. I was in Bath for two days, and by day two I was a bit overwhelmed by the busy tourist area so I found this place to enjoy a proper British Afternoon Tea to myself. This hotel is located within walking distance from the main attractions such as the Abbey, yet it is away from the hustle and bustle. The environment was great- I sit indoors by the window and have a view of the garden on a sunny day, the background music was classy, food was absolutely a delight- especially the scones and the sandwiches. The whole experience is tranquil. Especially I love how welcoming the staff made me feel I think her name is Isabel? But I can't recall : sorry... Anyways thank you for giving me such a great experience. Best service in the UK so far- and that is the standard! I LOVE how businesses take honor and pride in making their guests feel welcomed and happy. I can't say anything about the rooms since i was only there for tea. But i will definitely recommend their afternoon tea to any friends in Bath. If i am back in the city, I will also revisit."

A lovely building overlooking the gardens. The service was excellent friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Delicious food with a range of interesting savoury fillings in the sandwiches and absolutely beautiful cakes. These were mini works of art in both appearance and taste. The 'apple ' was a standout with its gorgeous flavours and combination of textures. I 'm sure we 'll return.

This is our 3rd visit for Afternoon Tea, it’s always been an extra special experience. The food was varied and fresh, service was ok. We always go during the summer so that we can sit outside, we noticed the tables hadn’t been set up and my partner was seated inside, we asked to go outside and we were told to pick a table and the crockery would be brought out. The table wasn’t wiped and cushions wet where they’d been left out. Nobody checked on us once food was delivered to see if we needed drinks etc. Sadly experience not so great this time!
