The food at this restaurant is excellent. I highly recommend trying the haggis and goats cheese & caramelised onion burger.

The restaurant took 45 minutes to bring out our food. Despite my friend being a vegetarian and ordering a veggie burger, they mistakenly served him a beef burger instead.

"Four weary travelers stopped here for a French twist on Scottish classics. The food was simple but elegant and tasted delicious—risotto with local squash, local hake in a wine/butter sauce, and Highlands steak with frites. Great wine of course! Great night!"

"we made it to new chapter last night after we heard great things about the restaurant. young we were happy that we, eating was amazing, I chose the Scotch egg starter, this bore no similarity with the super market picnic food, it was luscious with the egg still soft and surrounded by points of the inherited purée, fresh heaps and pea shoots, I was in the sky. it followed the pork press that I had many paintings this cut, but this was beautifully presented with a slowly boiled pork and baby beet, delicious. the personal was attentive and friendly, the other diners were a real baptism, which meant high deck that conversation was possible. all in all a winner, we will be back"

"seeds for the soul is definitiw one of the best in edinburgh specialized in vegan dishes. we had a bowl and a pack that were thought in the combinations of ingredients, great in taste and generous in portions. also they love the smoothies “Good morning coffee lovers” with espresso, kakao, bananen and mandelmilch, a killer mix! and remember to leave something space for the cakes here that would be sad to miss."

"This charming café has friendly and accommodating staff, with a fantastic range of food choices. It was an ideal spot to catch up with friends from Rome and the Netherlands. Our group enjoyed a diverse selection from the menu, including soup, Scottish breakfast, scrambled eggs with salmon, smoothies, waffles, carrot cake, and tea – all of which were delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with comfy owl cushions scattered around. While you might easily walk past it, it is definitely worth seeking out and stopping by. The café extends further back than expected, providing plenty of seating space."

"Stopped in for brunch on a Thursday early noon after a quick scout on TripAdvisor for places to eat on Morningside Road. A bustling cafe with stripped back wooden tables contrasting against rather elaborate metal light fittings and a mismatch of metal or simple cotton fabric covered chairs, we were luckily shown to the last available table in the back room. The cafe appears small from the outside but is actually deceptively big. Music was easygoing chill out which added to the relaxed atmosphere. Smiling waitresses helped also. We ordered coffees and eggs royale and our waitress promptly brought a jug of water over. Coffees came soon after and we were pleased that they were good...read more"
