"As I write this review we are in the middle of a national lockdown due to a pandemic. The hub has offered a delivery service for food. We fortunately ordered one yesterday and it was fantastic. Lovely fresh food delivered on time maintaining the social distancing. The filled buns and salad with veg crisps are very tasty and the cakes are delicious. I look forward to more deliverys and visiting when we can. Thanks and keep up the good work."

Lovely people working, very attentive. The food was amazing. Definitely will be back. 100% on everything, and the views over the beach is brilliant

This restaurant, located on Walney Island was special for its location and architecture. It is rather out-of-the-way. We found it worth the drive from Barrow.

Bought a take away last week, was determined not to return after my last very poor experience. Glad I did give it another chance the food was very fresh and tasty, everything it should be.

We have been twice to the Round House. Although the weather was cold the atmosphere and place was warm and inviting. Coffee and cakes are lovely Hopefully food won’t be long when kitchen is ready. Excellent.

The Round House building is quite iconic and has wonderful views of the North Sea. Wild and windy! The cafe offers hot drinks and snacks. Clean and friendly. Toilets and cafe accessible to wheelchair users. Definitely recommended!

Visited the round house with my friend last week. The food is nice however there is much less choice in comparison to their competition and the atmosphere, for me, is not as good. Therefore I would probably choose to go elsewhere next time.

Quaint little cottage to rent in the lakes, central to local amenities. Plenty of pubs nearby and plenty of places to eat in or order out from. Bit of a pain to park as down small lanes with parked car obstructions. Dvd players in both rooms but only worked in the bedroom. Took extra duvet, was a good decision for comfort. Only really need to take ur own towels. Would visit again
