"I have an allergy to citrus, lemon, orange, grapefruit etc. and when the waitress taking my order asked, any allergies , and I said, yes, citrus , she immediately went into the kitchen, explained to the head chef, and I was asked to wait a minute. I waited and the chef and manager came to see me, I was shown the ingredients of the meats and ended up only being able to have the beef. Why? Because the glazes on the other meats contained citrus. What an amazing customer service. Outstanding. Top marks all round."

The food was impeccable. I ordered the carvery and it was excellent. However, we had a disappointing experience with the dessert service. We ordered four sweets but only received one initially. We waited for the other three for twenty five minutes, only to find out that the order had been left behind the counter. Unfortunately, we had to leave without receiving the rest of our desserts as we had to travel back to the Midlands. The food was delicious, but the service was lacking.
