We went here for Fathers Day We all had the set 3 course menu Food was quick and good We had a mixture of Lamb roast/ Chickn roast and the Vegetarian Deserts were good as well Nice setting

Sunday roast was tasty and the trip worth good yorkshire pud has a nice walk through the flow to staff were very friendly and nice eating promptly good dessert cons my kartoffels were sadly burned took a little time to dessert, although personal was very apologetic

For a start we could not park in the car park or anywhere nearby. Inside it was complete chaos with serving staff running everywhere. There was broken glass and spilled food from the kitchen all around our table which no one bothered to attend to. The service was slow and we simply ate our food when it eventually arrived and left as soon as we could. Overall very disappointed as previous visits had been good.

that was my first visit and I will not go back in a hurry. parking was difficult, eating was not great, we went to lunch on Sunday and eating was hardly warm when it arrived. the bark was in order, but the vegetables were not cooked well at all and tasteless they were not served separately, simply thrown with the meat on the dish. I had the mini dessert and hot drink combo to finish the dessert was nice, but the hot chocolate was powdery. disappointment when I had heard good things about this place

Service was indifferent. Was offered water at table. Had to ask for it again. Offered bread to share at the table didn’t realise it was billed at £6.50 Selected wine from list price printed didn’t match what they had on tablet. Was told they’d deduct the difference, but when the bill arrived, it wasn’t. Wine “waiter” just poured the glasses walked away. Fortunately it was fine. The food was good all credit to the kitchen staff on turning out attractive, tasty dishes. The Saxon Mill won’t feature on our list to revisit for a long time. Visualizza piatti
