Nice atmosphere. Good food. Good value. Sunday lunches in the barn can be very noisy however!

Nice pub grub and friendly service. Love the decor and paintings, but otherwise nothing particularly special about it.

really cute pub. had a lovely roasted sweet potato with avocado, feta, onions, and greens. extremely flavorful lemony dressing as the bed of the dish and it worked so well.

Loved it! Early Friday night dinner with our dog Hendrix. Warmly welcomed, fantastic attentive service and brilliant food and atmosphere. A really lovely authentic pub and highly recommend

Tasty and comforting home cooking. Lived-in decor, relaxing atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Beer choices could be a little more dynamic but a fair few pubs are guilty of that these days. Would happily recommend to almost anyone.

Tasty food in a good location, with a good atmosphere. Good selection availablefor a pub. Food feels a little but pricey for a pub—for that price, I'd want restaurant quality+selection, instead of just very good pub quality with big-for-pub selection. Still, it seems to be very popular, so obviously many people feel it's worth it! I've certainly enjoyed my visits

One of our best meals in Cambridge by far! Cute little pub and gluten free options labeled on the menu which I always appreciate. I had the lamb steak with veg and garlic potatoes and it was so delicious. Hubby had steak tagliata and it was cooked to perfection! Will definitely be back. Take note that the dinner starts at 5pm. Maybe weekends good is served all day, not sure

Very strange experience. From the outside, looks like a very old fashioned pub. Coming through the door you need to wait to be seated and taken through a very quiet pub to a table. Very pleasant surrounds, nice enough, beer was nice enough, it all just felt a bit strange, like Covid times were back upon us. Nothing particularly wrong with it but just not an easygoing experience

I dined twice in the Punter recently. The food is very good. It tends to get very noisy in the evening if you sit inside because of the acoustics also reserve a place as it is popular. It's not too great with kids as it gets a bit claustrophobic with a lot of interesting objects around the walls that they are not allowed to touch and no alternative entertainment. In an adult only setup it is very cosy, very nice atmosphere and decoration.
