The Terrace Cafe - Menu

Great place for a tasty home cooked breakfast, during our motorcycle ride from Newcastle to Edinburgh. Hoping to visit again at the end of June ‘23 when back in the area.

Found this lovely cafe by accident. Pleasant welcoming staff. Lovely clean cafe. Nice choice of cakes/scones. The fruit tea bread was very tasty. Price okay for coffee cake. Would defo go back if in the area again.

I waited 20 minutes for 4 hot drinks and 45 minutes for 2 bacon rolls to go. I should have left after waiting so long for the bacon rolls, but I had already paid and didn't want to deal with the hassle of asking for a refund.

We stopped by for coffee and cake after a lady in one of the shops on the main street recommended it. They had a great variety of drinks and cakes, all at reasonable prices, and everything we tried was delicious. It's definitely worth a visit.

Lovely and cycle friendly cafe. Had a very nice gluten free toastie. Good value and was impressed by gluten free cakes option. And very friendly filled up our water bottles which was much appreciated. Would def recommend and would def go back !

Tea and coffee for four and the dogs no problems yea ok coffee as it should be and ral cheese scones not these garbage plain scones with a bit of tescoe basic srinkeled on top but real scones with cjeese through out a real chesse scone so hard to find yet here they are

We stopped off for lunch at this little place as there were no other options available. The Rambler Cafe had closed down, but we were welcomed in on a rainy day. There were only us and another table, but two other groups walked in. The food was good for a snack and satisfied our hunger. Although the cakes looked tempting, we did not try them.

Stopped off in Wooler on our way up to Edinburgh at the end of August. After viewing all the cafes and pubs we decided on this one. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Service good. Food was excellent. We were just in time to get the breakfast. I’m very fussy and couldn’t fault it. We are off up to Edinburgh soon and will be calling in again. I highly recommend it.

We visited a number of times and enjoyed every visit. The staff were great and we were able to take in our dog. We had a range of food from scones to toasted sandwiches and soup all of which were excellent and very good value. It looked like it was popular with locals which is always a good sign. We hope to be in the area again soon and I’m sure we will be visiting the Terrance again
