"I haven't been to the Three Blackbirds since its latest fire refurb. I guess if you've never been before you might like the decor but I think the front dining area particularly is tragic compared to how lovely it was before. Tiles on the wall in a beautiful old country pub? Food was OK, service was OK. Hand sanitiser at the entrance had run out and wasn't replaced for the entire service we were there as I kept hearing people mentioning it in these Covid days, that's a bit of a nono. No requirement to wear a mask when going to your table or the toilets. Terrible muzak played in the background which sounds so tinny as there's nothing to absorb the sound. Won't be going again I'm afraid"

with most pubs going down the Gastro-pub route, it was refreshing to see good old pub grub on the menu here.

Went for a girls night out, plenty of vino, great service and food. We were pretty late leaving but the staff were lovely

We were seated upstairs which meant service was a little slow. We had eaten half of our Sunday lunch before the horseradish arrived.Food was very tasty though, the roast beef was melt in your mouth

The food was delicious I would have liked the food to be hotter? I think this was because the plates weren’t that hot?But overall the food was lovely, the best roast I’ve had out for a long time So good that I’m going back next week

A lovely evening celebrating my Birthday. Attentive service delicious food everyone polite and helpful. This was our first evening out as a family after lockdown at The Three Blackbirds all protocol in place so we all felt very safe and could relax and enjoy the occasion we will definitely be back

We are loving our visits to The Three Blackbirds, but on this occasion it was really outstanding and noteworthy. We shared a T bone steak for two from the specials. Wow. All the elements of the meal were excellent, and full of flavour. Looking forward to our next visit there soon. Well done John, manager of the pub, who was also extremely welcoming

Unfortunately it was not a good experience with the staff serving people who came in after us first. In the end had to ask waitress to take our order. Then there was a long wait for the food to be served. Not a patch on what it use to be like nor a good advertisement for the group. The redeeming features were the food and the locality.Perhaps a bad hair day
