"This Saturday afternoon without a table reservation and the parking lot was quite busy. I don't have to worry. We were greeted by the very friendly and attentive staff who found us very quickly a table and set us up with drinks while we decided to eat our food. The food was excellent and there was a lot of it. I am a lover of bread and butter pudding, preferably a traditional, without extras. But I ordered the house special, which had added coffee and chocolate. I was so glad I did, probably the best bread and pudding I ate. I would like to recommend a visit, but book how the restaurant was busy, and the chocolate and coffee bread and butter pudding."

Had a table of 11 booked today for afternoon tea. We had ordered a mix of traditional and hot. Cannot fault it. Great service, food was amazing. Highly recommend this menu

Visited today around 2pm. Lunch menu very good, we got starters mains and desert with two drinks and came to less than £40. Haddock was amazing and best Crème Brûlée I've ever had. Staff lovely. Top marks

Fabulous meal in lovely surroundings, I wish I’d thought to take photos! The service was very friendly but unobtrusive, the food was really tasty, decent portion sizes and not overpriced, overall a really lovely place to visit

An amazing gem of a property. The rooms are cozy, the food is great, and the staff are amazing. Maurice is an exemplary publican and his knowledge of whisky helped us through choosing which of the many on offer to try next. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Well this was a excellent choice of venues tonight. The meal ,service and relaxing atmosphere, were first class. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. If you've not been , it's a must try. Extensive menus, with a wide variety of choice ,at very reasonable prices. THANK YOU for a lovely meal .
