"From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were treated exceptionally well. The staff, from Jess at the reception to the blonde lady who seated us and took our order, were all very kind. There were four of us at the table, and we each ordered different dishes. We were so pleased with our meals that we even shared bites with each other. The tomato soup starter with pesto and cream was a delicious new experience for me. My son has a sulphate allergy, but the waiter worked with the chef to ensure his meal was sulphate-free. The restaurant was bustling with satisfied diners, creating a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely consider this restaurant one of our special places and look forward to returning. Many thanks to all the staff – we will definitely be back."

Had a fabulous stay, big thank you to Helen and all the team, made to feel so welcome and above all Covid safe. Food during the day and breakfast absolutely delicious and plentiful, no one could do enough for us. Highly recommended

I recently tried the vegan hot dog at The Three Salmons and it was absolutely delicious! I also had the vegan brownie and chocolate ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend it! The Three Salmons now offers a vegan and gluten free menu for those looking for more options.

family meal for small children fantastic menu. squid, suppe and rare selection for our table bark meat, lamb, turkey and fish for net everything was gorgeous! my long evening dinner was huge and I've never seen him eat a fry. I recommend coming here. we were a few times and never disappointed.

many thanks to all those who were very attentive to our needs. eating was excellent, including the presentation. the sandwiches were very fresh and the fillings lovely. a nice touch is to be able to take home. the cakes they don't make to eat! excellent tee and coffee. would highly recommend to others.

I ate here with friends and there was really something for everyone on the menu. a worker was really helpful to find the gluten-free dishes for one of us. I had a huge part of honey with many fresh veggies. also the lateral part of the clobig chips was very generous. we were all too full of pudding. all staff were friendly and welcoming.

I met up with some friends for lunch and they recommended this place because they had attended a wedding there. Our initial impression was positive as we were greeted by friendly staff in a clean and tidy bar area. So far, so good. We each ordered different meals from the menu and our food arrived quickly. Unfortunately, none of us were satisfied with the quality of the food, but we didn't express our disappointment since our friends had recommended the venue. We politely finished what we could and then left.

We have been here to eat a few times over the years and so thought we’d stay overnight. However, the hotel is clearly understaffed although the staff there were working hard and were very welcoming. Our room had a new bathroom and some basic redecoration...but the furniture was old and shabby. The wardrobe doors didn’t shut easily, the bed head was broken. Although we realised that this is an older building, and that could be part of its charm, generally the whole hotel felt tired and in need of refurbishment and updating. The bar, gardens and restaurant were comfy and clean, our evening meal was nice enough and breakfast was adequate.
