The Wharf Restaurant, Bar Grill

Based right by Teddington Lock you can see why in Summer this would be packed. But on a grey October evening it’s less appealing! Ambience is a little lacking but great food and friendly staff make this a place to relax and enjoy

We came to this wonderful place to celebrate the new year. The food was outstanding. The jazz band was sensational The staff were amazing. We could not have found a better place to welcome in the new year. We want to book for next year!!

Lovely food with a good range of options but sunday lunch service was very slow. Our large group ordered just after 115 but main courses didn’t arrive until after 230 and I could see service across the restaurant was slow. We didn’t finish until 5 but the staff were very polite and the chat kept us going. Good live jazz too in the background

Celebrated an 80th birthday party here with a great afternoon tea (A party of 20 people )Table was laid up beautifully and the food also beautifully presented. Sandwiches were filling, scones delicious and a lovely selection of little cakes . No one went home hungry! and all our guests said how lovely the whole experience was. Highly recommend afternoon tea here to anyone

We had a fantastic lunch here to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We were in the upstairs function room, with the river views. The food was excellent. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, and helpful, particularly as our large group included several small children. Stylish and the young lady working alongside him, were very attentive, friendly and professional. Well done “The Wharf”

Popped in for our Sunday lunch and as always greeted with open arms by KP who immediately sought out a small table for the two of us. To our delight the jazz group were playing, in the bar area, which raises one’s mood immediately. The atmosphere in this restaurant is just great and the staff give such a warm welcome. The food is fantastic and service we can’t fault. We are so lucky to have such a high quality restaurant in teddington. An added bonus is the bar area where one can just pop in for a drink and soak up the riverside and atmosphere

We went to The Wharf for Sunday lunch and all the food we ordered was of a high standard and very well presented. The issues I had were the fact that the live jazz trio, although excellent, were simply too loud. We had to shout whilst they were playing. The other issue is the choice (or lack of) beer available. Whilst the Wine List was very extensive the beers on offer were unacceptable. Only two were available which were low-quality, bland brews owned by a multinational. There are 1,200 breweries in the UK....... My rating is Average due to the issues, whilst the food rating Excellent.

Having not been here since before the pandemic, and with a change of ownership too, this was a bit of a leap of faith for a special family celebration. Having read the reviews beforehand we decided to give it a go and are so pleased we did. It’s a fantastic place for a Sunday lunch and with the added bonus of a jazz band it made our celebratory lunch for 13 even more special. Adults and children alike all are welcome. There is a good choice of food on the menu although with 2 vegans in our party it would have been nice to have a few more choices for them. The food we ordered was good and the setting of course is amazing. KP and his team have everything under control so everything runs smooth...

We just got married on Saturday and were lucky enough to have our reception at The Wharf. From our initial enquiry, to cocktail and wine tasting to the day before and the actual day itself the management and staff were exceptional. The room was beautifully decorated, the atmosphere was incredible and the food was flawless. So tasty our guests are still talking about it. Tender beef, tasty soup, delicious desserts and moreish evening food. The Christmas decorations and lights are beautiful. All of the staff did an amazing job. Debbie was in hand for all questions. Shailesh made us our amazing signature cocktails. KP is just incredible and the owner even took the time to introduce herself. Eve...
